Nursery (ages 0 - 2)
Our baby nursery is a special place! The nursery environment represents your baby's first days in a church setting-and we want that to be special. Every parent is given a beeper, asked to fill out an instruction sheet, and receive loving care for their infant(s). We have a Registered Nurse on call, a Nursery supervisor on duty, as well as trained "baby" staff who will care for your baby. All of our children's workers in the nursery are given annual training classes and background checks. We take very seriously our role of caring for the children placed in our care during the services. The nursery operates both on Sunday morning & Sunday evening.
Children's Sunday School (ages 2 - 6th grade)
Times: Sundays 9:30 am - 10:25 am Sep through May
Children's Sunday School is designed to reach kids right where they are. We help them learn about God and His Word through discovery learning and creative activities kids love. It is our desire that they know Christ and grow in likeness to Him. There are four Sun school classes: ages 2-3, ages 4-Kindergarten, 1st-3rd grade, and 4th-6th grade.
Children's Church (ages 2 - 4th grade)
Times: Sundays 10:30 am same as adult worship time
Children's Church has two classes, one for ages 2 through pre-K, the other for K-4th graders. Fifth and sixth graders join the adults for morning worship.
Children's church teaches the children with a through-the-Bible curriculum that conveys the Bible timeline in practical ways. Children will understand the reality of the Bible accounts and be challenged to apply them to their lives.
Times: Sundays 5:30 pm - 7:15 pm Sep through May
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed
II Tim. 2:15
Welcome to AWANA! What a strange word. Actually it is not. Instead each letter represents a word. AWANA means: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. It comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. It means individuals who earnestly study and apply the Bible will not be ashamed of what they have come to know and believe about God.
AWANA is a great time of fun and learning. Our evening is divided into 3 parts: game time, handbook time and council time. Our goal is to make God’s word fun and relevant for today’s kids. Special events are planned throughout the year and each month we have a fun theme night where kids may dress crazy, play crazy games and win those crazy awana bucks. Those bucks can be used at the Awana store and also for special events.
