Community Carnival
In the early fall of each year after school starts we have a Saturday Community Carnival with booths, inflatibles, food, and fun. We hold this on the back of our property as a means of building relationships with our neighbors and their children in our community.
Lunches To Local Schools And Businesses
This ministry provides lunches to local schools and businesses. It is just another way we can show others we care about them.
Voting Center
God has given us opportunity to be a voting center for our district. We welcome many people through our doors on voting days for local and national elections. We feed the election workers and provide the facilities to our community on these special days.
Red Cross Blood Drives
We also host Red Cross blood drives at our church throughout the year. We want our community to know that we care for them and desire to show that care in tangible ways. Many of our people give blood at these events. You may call the church office for scheduled blood drive times.
Home Schooling
We are home to two home schooling groups that meet in our facility each week throughout the school year. It is our desire to encourage young families and families with teenagers in Biblical values-based education. We have students from our church in both groups, along with having students in our church family that attend area Christian and public schools as well. They all find a home within the fellowship of our church family!
Victory Mission Ministries
We engage in support of and are ministry partners with
Victory Mission Ministries here in Columbus. We engage in an annual food drive in November to help feed the homeless and those in our community who find themselves in great need.
Urban Connections
We work with
Urban Connections in the inner city of Columbus to provide personnel for teaching summer camp programs and Bible studies for the kids along with volunteer tutor help. We continue to work in our Jerusalem reaching out to a variety of ethnic and social backgrounds with the Gospel of Christ.
Friend's Ministry Outreach
Each year MBC has the opportunity to serve meals to financially disadvantaged people at the
Friends Ministry's "Saturday Night with Friends" outreach. Our members donate food and clothing, and prepare and serve approximately 250 hot meals to those in need.
Our fifth annual Biker Brunch and Toys for Disadvantaged Kids [MBC’s trademark ministry name for this outreach] will take place this year on Saturday October 8th, 2011 from 10:30am to noon (doors open at 9:30am). All bikers are invited. We work with
