Memorial Kids
Welcome to the Memorial Kids! When we think of the value of each child, our mind and heart goes to Psalm 139:13-16. The ESV translation reads:
"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them."
We see this truth lived out every day. What a wonder it is when a newborn arrives for the first day with all its little parts "delicate" and "knitted together" by the very hand of the Creator. Each child is as different and unique as the ever changing colors in a kaleidoscope. It is only when the kaleidoscope is pointed to the light that it reaches the full potential of its beauty. And so it is with the heart of a child. It is the desire of the Memorial Kids ministry to recognize the inherent wonder of each child and partner with parents in pointing every child to Jesus, the Light of the World! Please come and join us as we learn together what it means to walk in the Light!

Nursery (0-2 years)
Our nursery is a special place! The nursery environment represents your baby's first days in a church setting-and we want that to be special! We have a Registered Nurse on call, a Nursery supervisor on duty, as well as trained "baby" staff who will care for your baby. All of our children's workers in the nursery are given annual training classes and background checks. We take our role very seriously, caring for the children placed in our care during the services. The nursery operates both on Sunday mornings & Sunday evenings.
Children's Church (2 years - 4th grade)
Children's Church is designed to reach kids right where they are. We help them learn about God and His Word through discovery learning and creative activities that kids love. It is our desire that they know Christ and grow in likeness to Him. There are 2 classes (as of Fall 2021): ages 2-Pre-K, and K-4th grade. 5th-6th graders are encouraged to sit with their parents in the regular worship time.
Sunday School & AWANA (3 years-6th grade)
Awana (3 years to 5th grade)
AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not ASHAMED. During AWANA, your kids will learn important truths about God and His Word while building relationships with peers and adult leaders.
Our AWANA program is for kids 3 years old (& potty trained) to 5th grade. We meet on Sunday nights from 5:30-7:30 pm. Each week, kids will experience engaging Bible lessons, learn & memorize scripture, and participate in a fun & exciting game time.
